Illegal gambling sites blocked amid World Cup fever
The Greek polices cyber crimes unit has blocked access in Greece to 23 illegal gambling sites that allowed users to bet on World Cup soccer matches.
Officers said that the sites servers were located outside Greece in places such as Britain, Belize, Austria, Malta, Panama, Russia and Israel and that they were breaking the countrys strict gambling laws.
