On Tuesday, sunny weather will dominate much of Bulgaria until midday. However, in the afternoon, there will be a noticeable increase in cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds, particularly over the northern and eastern regions. Maximum temperatures will range between 31° and 36°, with Sofia seeing around 30°.

However, as he explains in a post on Twitter, areas of mainland Greece will be affected by more intense phenomena over the three-day period Thursday-Saturday.

With temperatures reaching 39 degrees Celsius, the weekend, with the risk of wildfires increasing in several areas. Any showers that do occur will be isolated and limited to mountainous areas.

Overnight, the skies will remain mostly clear with calm conditions, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).

The next week is expected to begin with significant instability, featuring scattered showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening over the mainland, according to the director of the National Meteorological Service (EMY), Thodoris Kolydas.

Friday will see mostly sunny weather, though it will be accompanied by some wind. In the afternoon, cloud cover will increase temporarily, particularly in mountainous and eastern regions, where isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected.

The current above-average temperatures across the country are expected to decrease by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius and return to seasonal norms by the end of the week, with a likely downpour in inland regions, according to an expert.

On Thursday, sunny skies are expected, with cumulus clouds forming in the afternoon. These clouds will be more prominent over the mountainous regions of Western and Central Bulgaria, where short-term rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated.
