Serbian industrial turnover up by 15.8 pct y-o-y in July
BELGRADE - Serbia's July 2024 industrial turnover was up by 15.8 pct relative to the same month of last year, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Relative to the 2023 average, it was up by 13 pct.
By sectors, the mining sector registered a 36 pct turnover increase y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover rose by 15 pct.
Industrial turnover index increased
The overall turnover index in industry in July 2024 recorded an increase of 11.7% compared with the corresponding index of July 2023, according to figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday.
The Overall Turnover Index in Industry in July 2023 had decreased by 10.3% compared to July 2022.

Lenders lead Greek market downward
Once more, the Athens Stock Exchange was unable to hold on to early gains, with selling pressure on banks and other blue chips prevailing in the end.
Turnover remained weak and investor interest low. The general index closed at 1,425.36, down 0.50%, on turnover of €100 million. Blue chips dropped 0.76%, while mid-caps rose 0.04%.

Worse tourist season expected for this year half of the businessmen in Halkidiki – What a new survey shows
