Soul diva Martha High comes to Greece for a short residency at the Half Note Jazz Club with the Soul Cookers band. The vocalist broke out on the gospel and jazz scene in the 1960s after going on tour with James Brown as a backing singer, and went on to perform with some of the greatest names of the genre, later evolving into disco and funk. Tickets cost 20-30 euros and shows start at 10.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9.30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Reservations can be made on the venue's website and by calling the box office.
