Fourteen migrants injured in suspected migrant smuggling car crash
A car carrying Syrians crashed early Monday in northern Greece, police said, injuring all 14 people in the vehicle that is believed to have crossed the border clandestinely.
Nine detained over torched cars in central Athens
Nine people were detained on Thursday following a fourth day in a row of arson attacks on cars in central Athens.
According to the police and fire service, four cars were torched at 3.40 a.m. on Karachristou Street, in the district of Kolonaki, three of which were completely destroyed and the fourth was seriously damaged.
Firemen were called in to put out the blaze.

City, ministry sign cooperation deal to improve life in Athens
Citizens' Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis and Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis have signed a four-year cooperation agreement aimed at improving day-to-day life in the Greek capital.
The document signed on Monday foresees the creation of a Center for Managing Daily Life, which will be operated jointly by the Hellenic Police (ELAS) and the Athens Municipal Police.

Assailants attack Golden Dawn offices in central Athens
Unidentified assailants attacked the offices of neofascist Golden Dawn party near Athens' central Larissis railway station with gas canisters.
The attack, which took place at around 2.30 a.m. on Friday, caused minor damage but no injuries.
Police remove minors from screenings of Joker
Police on Sunday intervened in two cinemas in Athens to remove minors from the screening of the movie "Joker" which has an "R" rating for violence and disturbing content.
The incidents occurred at the cinemas in the Mall in Maroussi, northern Athens on Saturday and the Aelo cinema in Kypseli on Sunday.
