Thunderstorms and Clear Skies to Alternate Across Bulgaria on Friday
On Friday morning, clouds over the eastern half of Bulgaria will start to clear. However, by the afternoon, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will form again, leading to rain and thunder in certain areas. The wind, coming from the northwest, will be moderate to strong.

Conditions heat will prevail from today and at least until the end of this week, according to meteorologists’ forecasts. A feature of the next few days will be that the maximum daily temperature will exceed daily 38-40 °C in many parts of our country, reaching at levels 6-8 °C above normal for the season.
Yellow Heat Warning Issued for Bulgaria with Highs Reaching 39°C
A yellow warning code for high temperatures has been issued across Bulgaria for today and tomorrow, July 10 and 11. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 39 degrees Celsius, with Sofia forecasted to hit 34 degrees. Shumen and Ruse will experience 39 degrees, Plovdiv and Silistra 38, and Yambol, Kardjali, Vidin, and Sandanski 37 degrees.
